Welcome to Kat's Community Microschool
Kat's Community Microschool is a student-centered homeschool program rooted in connection, collaboration, and customized learning right here in Phoenix, AZ. As an Arizona certified teacher and experienced homeschool mom, I bring a deeply personal approach to education that meets each child where they are. My goal is to create a unique, customized homeschool experience that helps students conquer their goals, explore new ideas, and build meaningful connections with the world around them. Whether a child thrives with structure or needs a more flexible path, my homeschool support is designed to nurture curiosity, build confidence, and make learning feel like an adventure worth showing up for every day.
As a private homeschool teacher, I work with students ages 8 to 12, offering in-home tutor services and a hybrid school program powered by Prenda. I have experience working with neurodivergent learners and bring an ADHD-friendly and autism-friendly approach to every session. I also offer homeschool tutoring in reading and specialize in supporting struggling readers who need a little extra encouragement. From art classes to home economics education, my customized homeschool curriculum covers a range of enriching subjects. My program is AZ ESA approved and I am licensed and insured.
